After the dog days of July (fog, fog and more fog), I felt the warmth of the sun on my face on this first day in August. It sure felt good, and I had fun, sleeping in late with Jeff, having breakfast (including New Mexico green chile) with Phil, shopping at Rainbow and Trader Joe's, puttering in the garden, and meeting Michael for coffee and tea at Ritual roasters on Valencia. It was a perfect SF day: sunny, high in the low 70's and with mild Pacific breezes. Welcome August and good night world: I am smiling as I go to bed!
