I LOVED this story about about German fight ace who spares the lives of a U.S. bomber crew in WW II

Last night, I finished reading the book "A Higher Call: An Incredible True Story of Combat and Chivalry in the War-Torn Skies of World War" and was emotionally moved by this tale of compassion and connection.  An incredible story that unfolds over 50 years. Read it.
