Listen to this great speech by this great man. Here are some highlights that are truly Lincoln-like in tone & stature:I believe in a country that rewards hard work and responsibility, a country where we look after one other, a country that says I am my brother's keeper, I am my sister's keeper, I'm going to give a hand up, join hands with folks and try to lift all of us up so we all have a better future, not just some - but all of us. That's what I believe.
I believe the government should do for the people what they cannot do better for themselves.
Just like with Lincoln, it may take a while for this country to wake up to the fact this county is being led by such an enlightened president. It may take a very bitter and harmful cup of tea.
