Goodness: Dick Cheney, Ken Mehlman, Bill Clinton, Terry McAuliffe were on the same side in Maryland, fighting for marriage equality. This is quickly becoming a non-partisan issue
This is a human rights issue, not a partisan one. More about Cheney's and Mehlman's roles in Maryland. As well as Bill Clinton's and Terry McAuliffe's support.
Another conservative "closet-case" gets caught: Houston talk show host linked to hit-and-run incident at a gar bar
Another sad tale of what societal homophobia and self-hatred drives men to do. Andy Towle has the story.
Photo of the week: panelists from a House GOP-led hearing on the government's contraception policies. Where are the women? Just lots of self-righteous, angry hetero religious men
GOP House leaders must think that men know better than women about the issue of contraception. I find that ironic.

About last weekend's flash mob "buycott", thanking JCPenney for supporting Ellen and the LGBT community
"As a sea of people dressed in pink descended the escalator to shop, to "flash our pink dollars," we noticed that all of the JCPenney staff were also wearing pink clothing, and they applauded as we reached their floor. It was a spectacular moment."
Greg Rothman, organizer of last weekend's JCPenney flash mob "buycott" in NYC
Maryland House of Delegates passes marriage equality!
Good news, indeed. Maryland, my former home state, is one step away from passing marriage equality. All that needs to happen is that the bill is signed by the Democratic governor of Maryland. (Thank God for Democrats, people who believe in the spirit of the Constitution when it comes to marriage!)
For now, fear triumphs over love: Gov. Christie vetoes marriage equality in NJ. However, we will prevail in the end
Read about the sad news here. This is just another example of how the GOP has consistently trampled the rights of LGBT Americans, time and time again. I am disgusted with Christie and the rest of his party.
