These young children ask for immigration reform from Rep. Cantor. Instead, he calls the cops on them. Latinos will not forget these GOP policies

John Boehner and Eric Cantor refuse the House to allow debate on the immigration bill because they are afraid it will fracture the GOP, especially the xenophobic and racist segments of that party.  They obstruct this bill from getting a fair hearing on the House floor, directly impacting the lives of over 11 million undocumented residents in the U.S.

As we mourn Mandela's passing, we need to remember that he funght for people like these, championing the idea that all people are created equal, including the black and brown ones.   The cowardice of the GOP leadership is the antithesis of Mandela's courage and vision.  The GOP will continue to pay a high price for their refusal to move on immigration reform. People with last names like Rodriguez, Sanchez, and Gonzalez will never forget their inaction.
