Thank you Chief Justice Roberts for saving health care reform. You care about ordinary Americans...and your legacy

Today, conservatives will be angry with John Roberts and shaking their heads and asking why some conservative justices tend to become more moderate the longer they serve. To me, the answer is simple: they realize they have to rise above narrow legal theories and petty politics and do what is right for the American people.  Chief justices also tend to worry about their legacies, not wanting to be on the wrong side of history.

Thank you John Roberts!  And thank you President Obama!
