Will Chief Supreme Court Justice John Roberts will be on the right side of history when the DOMA and Prop 8 cases reach his court...

It will be interesting to see how much John Roberts is interested in his legacy if and when the Supreme Court takes on the DOMA and Prop. 8 cases.  Given increasing number of federal courts that are ruling DOMA un-Constitutional, it will be hard for the Supreme Court not to take at least these cases.

Bottom-line:  Will Roberts want to be associated for a Dred Scott-type decision (the Supreme Court ruling, before the Civil War, affirming slavery ) or will it stand-up for equality?
