With 24 Democrats and 4 Republicans. Yay! Now, on to the WA State House and the Democratic governor. This soon should become law in Washington.
But the usual anti-gay forces -- the GOP and conservatives -- threaten to put these civil liberties of an oppressed minority up to a majority popular vote. I don't think the GOP understands and respects the civil liberty provisions of the U.S. Constitution. Are all men created equal or not?
